Meet Swetha Kundaram
Writer, artist, technologist, and founder of week.monster.
With 14 years of experience in technology, Swetha has worked with companies like Microsoft, WaveMaker, and AT&T across the UK, Denmark, and India. Her work has consistently centred around one thing: taking something complicated, figuring out what matters, making it understandable, and turning it into something people can actually use.
Beyond technology, she's a painter, an athlete, and a builder with more interests than any traditional to-do list can accommodate.
Why does a busy life feel so exhausting?
Over the years, she became increasingly interested in a different question: why does a busy life feel so mentally exhausting, even when we know what needs to be done?
She began exploring the idea of cognitive friction — the invisible mental effort involved in managing multiple interests, identities, priorities, and unfinished thoughts.
That exploration led to the Cognitive Flow Framework, which eventually evolved into week.monster — an identity-first weekly operating system designed for people who don't fit into one box.
Today, she's building week.monster full-time, bringing together her experience in technology, her creative instincts, and her obsession with understanding how people think, work, and create. She's also documenting the journey as it happens — the experiments, the ideas, the building, the failures, and everything in between.
You don't have to choose one version of yourself. You just need a system that makes room for all of them.
